Food Revolution Day

Project Case Study

Food Revolution Day

The Jamie Oliver Foundation (UK-based) educates and encourages people to make better food choices. In April, 2012, a website was launched to spread this message around the world.

Objectives

Connect with community through events at schools, restaurants, local businesses, dinner parties and farmers' markets, to inspire change in people’s food habits and to promote Jamie Oliver’s mission for better food and education for everyone.

Solution

We created a custom website integrated across three event platforms that pulls in events and funds raised from those events in real time. In addition to creating events on the site, users may also upload videos and recipes, and pledge to bring food education to their schools or workplaces - resources are available on the site to get started.
